Introduction
Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s largest and oldest parks, spans over 13,000 square kilometers and is renowned for its rugged, untouched wilderness. It’s famed for the iconic “Red Elephants” that dust themselves with the park’s red soil, creating a striking, almost mythical sight. The park is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, offering excellent opportunities to witness the “Big Five” (elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard, and rhino) as well as cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and abundant birdlife. Its landscape is defined by vast savannah plains, acacia woodlands, the dramatic Yatta Plateau (the world’s longest lava flow), and the winding Galana River, which sustains the park’s wildlife.
This 2-day safari with Reba Travels invites you to explore the magic of Tsavo East, providing an immersive experience in one of Africa’s most iconic wild landscapes. Whether you’re an avid photographer, a nature lover, or simply seeking adventure, this safari promises memorable encounters with Kenya’s magnificent wildlife in its natural habitat.
